I constantly scan for used Mezger GT3’s since I want one in the near future as my bucket list 911, and my guess is that this one will sell for around an even $100k.

Speaking of monkeying with the DME read out, in this day and age of computer evil geniuses, how easy is it to fake the DME readouts? Is there a secondary method to check for engine abuse on a 996 or 997.1 or 997.2 GT3?

A big fear of mine is buying what appears to be a well maintained and responsibly driven GT3 that has been beat to crap on the track with numerous issues hidden behind a falsified DME report.
In this day and age, the mere absence of ANY over revs just smells. Are you telling me nobody ever floored this GT3 and bumped it off the rev limiter?

Not that this would disqualify the car from evaluation. Over revs are not all created equal, or necessarily a deal killer. But ZERO? Come on. Huge red flag after 3 owners.
