OK, I made my bed and now I'm sleeping in it but here goes... I never meant anything negative towards Cris and the RGruppe, I'm sure it's all on the up-and-up. Cris himself asked me to join, and I thought that it would be fun to be part of a group of similar minded 911 enthusiasts, regardless that I'm several hundred miles to the North. I sent in a money order which is traceable, if need-be, but all I expected was an e-mail confirming that he had received the cheque and details/photos that I sent. Is that too much to ask? As for some of the RGruppe guys that I've met online, I'm sure (I hope!) that they don't speak for the rest of the Gruppe!
As for my "mildly" modified 912, it eats 911's alive on the track as many found out the hard way at Portland. Watch what you say about other's cars... you'd have better luck getting away with insulting a person's mother!
