Men visit hairdressers every day. I think your semantics are off. When a woman cuts your hair, she is a hairdresser. When a man does it, he's a barber. Or maybe it's just a midwestern thing but that's what we call them. Unless you wanna be rural and call them 'the hair cutter lady person'.
