I had a dermatologist appointment this morning. I go every 6 months. This time I told them about the tender spot on the scalp sorta above my ear. Hurts like **** when the barber hits it with the trimmer. Skin is very thin here.
Of course they need to remove it and do a biopsy of it. So she sticks me with the needle to numb it up. HOLY CHRIST THAT HURTS!!!
I have NEVER been in so much pain. I got dizzy and nearly passed out. The needle was in for about 30 seconds and it was an 13.5 on the pain meter.
I had to lay back and put my knees up.
It's been about 2 hours now and the numbness is wearing off and it's starting to hurt again. I may go home.
