My wife and I are taking a three day weekend in the city at the end of February. I'm not a City person, this is all about her.
We are middle aged empty nesters (one son working as an Engineer, the other two in college) so after 30+ years together we are getting back to doing things together instead of always planning around kids.
We / she have already done some of the typical things - Ellis island and the statue of liberty, the Twin towers, she has been to some shows and St. Pats.
We are going to Wicked (which she hasn't seen) and the Met. I don't yet know what else she has planned. I though that I would try to propose a couple activities. So I'm asking for a little help.
What is the thing you would do while you were there? Restaurants, bars, museums, shows, odd little parks - we don't know the city but we are open to a lot.
