I'm jealous. My fruit mostly comes from Whole Foods.

My understanding is that sumos are supposed to be like a giant clementine (I think those are what's sold as cuties and sweeties, right? easy to peel, small, sweet)
I'm originally from FL. One of my uncles is also originally from FL. He was working in the citrus industry from the time that he was 6. His dad working in a packing plant, and in the summers would take him and a friend to work. They would have them pull nails from the broken packing crates. I think he said they got something extravagant like a nickle a week or something. Other than some time in the military when he was younger, he retired from the Fl Citrus business. He has worked for something like the US Dept of Agr at some point too. He's in his 80s now, but he has a tree in his backyard that at one time had 13 or 15 different kinds of citrus fruit all growing on it via grafting. He said that one of his bosses had a tree that bore 31 different types of citrus fruit.
