If you are looking for a great meal in Midtown, I'd recommend
momosan ramen & sake It is on Lexington between 39th & 40th, two blocks from Grand Central Terminal. The food is outrageously good and the prices are very reasonable. But, they don't take reservations so plan accordingly.
