Been thinking about he garage...
Probably need to seal the HVAC closet better. Both the doors that open to my garage and the open ceiling over the closet. The house was evidently build so the closet would provide air thru the doors in the garage and attic for the heaters. HVAC guy put the vent tubes in because it is required by code. But they don't do jack with an open ceiling in the closet.
That and wouldn't hurt to insulate the ceiling over the garage either. Don't know how much that would help in summer, but it would help in the winter. Understand 85& of the heat is lost thru the ceiling.
