I've had spare plugs laying around for quite some time, but have been hesitant to go that route because of them coilpacks... heard the boots tear and what not..
all that plastic on modern cars is terrible.
never had such worries on my old 73 targa.
Obviously I had other worries there, since the chassis wasn't made galvanized and half made out of Stainless steel like the gator
In retrospect, I wish the 73 had more plastic & stainless and less rust
