It is on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm, if it were later I would try to shoot up, I am about 100 miles from there. I would have to pull the spawn out of school to make this one.
I have pulled him out for the last space shuttle launches and for a Dragon Launch.

I used to live in Cape Canaveral, if you do not want to stand with the masses on the Causeways. Try going down to the A-1-A corridor in northern Cape Canaveral.
Cheri Down Park is right on the Ocean and has bathrooms.

Also any side road down Ridgewood Avenue to the south from that point will have beach access. I lived off of Fillmore, so the beach at the end of Fillmore was "My Beach" to this day I instinctively head to that beach, for nostalgia reasons.
I would love to meet up for a beer Richard, not sure I am interesting enough for you to wander 30 minutes off the interstate to meet up though, Jensen Beach is right on the east coast but pretty far removed and not easy to get to.
