inaminit,

You must be referring to another post. Post 40 he is sending an email address.

Anyway, previous we had the Hi/Lo working and we understood why. We proved that it wasn't the switch that was at fault (for Hi/Lo switching). Then Steve tried the turn signals and they didn't work. He bought two new relays and replaced them both. The only wiring connecting the two is a daisy chained ground which later he measured to be 5 ohms to ground. I suggested he clean this as the relays need a good ground. He had dirty grounds and cleaned them. I am now suggesting that he replace the new changeover with the modded old relay and report findings. That could be a significant clue.

By cleaning the grounds and replacing the two relays, he is changing three variables; I am suggesting that changing only one variable at a time would help this diagnosis.

Have you reviewed the 1972 schematic for hi/lo and turn signal wiring? If not, then I can forward it to you.
