So Steve, in retrospect, here is my theory:
We solved the Hi/Lo switching with the modded relay. The failed turn signal flasher could have been related to the dirty grounds killing the other turn signal relay. Your new relay fixed that issue.
Coincidence? Time will tell.
Keep us posted if either has issues down the road please.
