They are, but they're not shifting particularly quick any more. I think the LHD/RHD thing is an issue too - LHD being most desirable everywhere EXCEPT the UK, which results in most LHD cars being slightly cheaper (and thus desirable for export)

Thanks for clarifying the backdate thing, that's my bad - I guess "RS modification" would be a better description, although as stated it isn't a particularly full one.
I realised that an engine rebuild is about $10k usd, so if that hasn't been done I'll need to factor it in? How would I go to test how "far gone" the engine is, a simple compression test? Or should it be taken apart by a specialist?
