Replaced front Xenons, now no high/low beams. Only halo rings.
I replaced the front Xenons in my 2012 E92 335 i LCI xDrive. Due to a front light “fender bender”. The replacement lights came from separate resellers. On both light assemblies, the halo rings are working but not the lights. Nor can I activate the high beams from the right stalk on the steering columns. I have no alerts in the car indicated the bulbs are bad. Since both headlights are behaving the same way, I’m drawn to looking for something common to both. One thought, FRM module? But everything else associated with the FRM appears ok. I found the following codes:
A8C6 - Daytime running light right faulty
A8A9 - high beam/turn-off ; light right faulty
A8A8 - high beam/turn-off, light left faulty
9CC0 - communication with step motor controller on right disputed
9CBF - communication with step motor controller on left disputed
A8AA - dipped beam, left faulty
A8AB - dipped beam, right faulty
A8Af - Fog light right faulty, daytime running light faulty
A8AE - Fog light left faulty, daytime running light faulty
A8C2 - Reversing light right faulty
A8C6 - daytime running light right faulty. IHK faults
Any ideas on what to check?
Thanks in advance.
