Hello all

I have tried to find some answers on upgrading a 2.2T engine in other posts, but didn't succed.
I have a 2.2T for 1970 with Zenith carbs and a 901 gearbox.
I would like to have som more power form the engine, but don't have the budget to do a extrem engine overhaul, and would like to use the zenith an gearbox due to budget restrictions, and make it more fast on the street.

Î hope to make around 160 hp.
I have the posibility to buy some 2.4E P/C and 2.4E Cams.

My questtions are:

are the 2.2E and 2.4E cam the same? I think they are - so I can use the 2.4E cam together with my 2.2T heads?

The 2.4E P/C will combined with a 70 non counterweight crank mean less compression, than the 2.2E P/C? is that correct? so I would not benefit form installing a set of 2.4E P/C together with the E cam vs. a set of 2.2E P/C together with the E cam?

Can I use the E cam, (I think all E cam are the same) together with som 2.2 S pistons and my 2.2T heads and cylinders? and still use the zenith and 901 gearbox? if yes, hvow many HP will I have?

As for now, I don't want to rebuilt the entire engine, so stroking it with a 2.4/2.7 crank and rods, is not the option.
