Thought the only thing Adobe actually ever wrote themselves was Postscript.
Everything else they purchased and hacked after printer companies started coming out with Postscript emulators.
The worst hack was Aldus Freehand. Illustrator is much more difficult to create art with. Anymore I create stuff with paths in Photoslop.
