Yes. I don't really watch television, but Breaking Bad is just killer. There are others as well, I just haven't seen them. So I would say golden age of quality television. (Reality TV is not part of this).

Also:

Guitars.
Guitar amps.
Effects pedals.
Fly rods.
Beer.

I see lots of "super premium" things today. Coffee is one. I live in Portland, we have killer food for cheap.

And strip clubs - not really my thing but there are lots of them.

Answer: yes. We are in the golden age of many things.
