Tried a software drawing package that was very affordable. When saw we needing more features the software company said it would take custom programming, take a lot of time, and would be $$$$. On a whim took a gander at the coding. All of the features we wanted, and more were already in the software. It only needed to be turned on. They charged for each feature individually and drug out the "custom programming" time to make it seem like you were getting your money's worth.
Decided to go with a different software package that was more honest about the features and costs for a lot less.
On other software package I enabled all the features, put my alias on the splash screen and gave it to a user in the local Mac user group. Four years later the founder of the company I work for got himself a Mac for home. Someone he knew from Venezuela gave him a copy of some drawing software to try. He brought it to me to see what I thought. About fell over laughing when the splash screen had my alias on it! Told the founder it was out dated and gave him a copy of what we were currently using.
