The Zeniths in stock spec are jetted rather lean, ventury size is small, some said they were a low emissions carb if there is such a thing.
I rebuilt mine and went to 30mm venturies and finally settled on 125 main jets ,52 idle jets and left the air correctors stock,a good ignition system go's a long way to help with starting and general running through the power range,I have a good strong running motor for a 2.2.
I have never worked with Webers on a 911 motor but IMO the Zeniths aren't a bad carb but take a lot of tuning to reach that sweat spot.
