Yes! I would be thrilled with that trashed out, barely running example - despite some illegal substances. Those can easily enough be gotten rid of.
The stash would not likely have been much of a secret in the “smugglers box” - any more so than if it were kept in the glove box. I’m sure any LEO worth his (her) salt would have popped the bonnet of a 911 immediately if any possession was in question. More so “back in the day” than now.

In any case, I would love the opportunity to own a longhood that I could actually drive without fear of a paint blemish. Kind of the point, isn’t it?
