Getting my Grandfather's 1956 Desktop clock to work

He got it for a retirement gift in 1956, hasn't run for at least 40 years. My Dad had it for years and it just quit, about 40 years ago. Took it out of the wood case, and sprayed brake cleaner in it, then dry teflon lube spray (didn't disassemble it). It been running now for about 8 hours and is less than a minute off, (fast!) it has a slow and fast adjustment which I'll play with, it even has an alarm, that works.

It cost me about one hour of my time. I'm pleased, my wife thinks its "nice" but a "silly" project.
