Quick update 2/19/2018,

I got the original 2.2 apart. Only one head stud gave me trouble. I found 2.2S pistons and (biral) cylinders. The internals look amazing. The crosshatching is still visible in the cylinders. The bearings are dated 1985 and can go right back in. The case was put together with the wrong sealant and was leaking from several places so its headed to the washer.

Going to clean and measure everything and most likely put it back together. I'll install case savers, ARP studs, turbo valve covers, update the oil pump/case, trim the engine air baffles, install Carrera tensioners, send the fan assembly off to flyingjay, rebuilt the Webers, maybe port/polish the heads, and whatever else it recommends in Wayne's book.

Anyone have a really nice std/std 2.7 crank, turbo oil pump or any of the other stuff I'm going to need?
