You could use an E46 M3 BMW DBW actuator...it is designed to work with a linkage actuator...I have contemplated adding this to my car with the actuator mounted on the trans and connecting to the linkage for the throttle from there. That way it will keep the look of a cable throttle but have the modern DBW connected to it. Like Shaun stated before me, the Infinity can control the DBW and has already been proven to work with the E46 M3 DBW actuator.
