Cathy and I completed an irrevocable trust last year ($1300).
The attorney spent a lot of time with us before we committed to the idea, would have been no cost if we had declined.
Part of his pitch(?) was that wills are cheap to buy but have more cost/aggravation at your death. To the effect that you can choose to pay on the front end or on the back end.
