Vash, the holes for mounting the peep sight are on the right hand side of the receiver. It doesn't look like your rifle has those. The two holes on the left are only meant to hold that small plate in place, which is what the lug on the bolt locks up against. It's adjustable fore and aft to make up for o-ring wear, or to loosen it up when you put a fresh o-ring in it. That way it always seals, since it's adjustable for o-ring thickness.
