They need to be made an example. Drop the hammer on them. My problem with the student they found in Van Wert is that they aren't releasing his name. Being a small community I'm sure people already know but still, release the name of the person who made the threat and embarrass the hell not only out of them but out of the parents so the parents wake up and doing something about it as well. If any of my kids were dumb enough to make a threat either seriously or as a "joke" they're just dumb enough to go to jail or at a minimum get a sever ass beating as a result. It's time kids fear the consequences of their actions again. Very seldom did I fear the legal consequences of doing something stupid but I DID fear what my dad would do if I did something to bring shame to the family.
