The biggest issue w/ any of these upgrades is rotors
The 996 front calipers(aks Boxster front) will want a 28mm thick rotor. It is possible to do as Chris Streit has done on his race car(sourced by VCI). But it is not common.
The Boxster kits are used w/ the 24mm Carrera rotors
The best choices are the 32mm 930 or 993tt rotors which need a different set of calipers(thought many of the smaller ones can be made to work on them) and wheels(usually).
