I remember back in the early 80's one of my brothers gradumacated from college and got a prestigious job.
So he went out bought and bought a new jaguar.

He stopped by to show me his new purchase and I gave him a hard time about how bad of a reliability reputation jags had.
He said " that was the OLD jag, the news ones are much better!"
I remember pointing out something that had fallen off the car on his way from the dealer.

by the time that vehicle his 60,000 miles he donated it to a charity as it had already cost him a fortune in repairs and the transmission was dead which would cost another $5k.
