A few years ago my family got the three movies as a boxed DVD set for Christmas and we binge watched them back to back over Christmas vacation. I really came to understand what masterpieces they were watching them uninterrupted like that.

Number three is a good movie. As Legion said, it just wasn't the understated masterpiece the first two were. It is a different type of movie with more of a modern feel rather that the old time period drama noir feeling of the first two.
