To be honest, i think it's Bull$****. that there are no more NA engines.
They won't put out any less polution in real life use

they will just consume less fuel at lower use where nobody cares what they do..

And I bet Porsche will have to figure out a way to keep chiptuners from increasing the boost and rivaling the Turbo S model for cheaps.. porsche hates having others take their margin...

So I expect some kind of DME with a firewall/AV/checksup rootkit protection soon.
Or they will build mechanical parts that are hard to replace and will do a controlled failure if subjeted to to much boost.

Like intake runners that can only handle xx amount of boost
or dfi injectors that don't work with high boost but have a non standard mounting compared to the turbo injectors that can handle it.


To be honest, if I had the money now, I'de probably buy a more recent NA engined second hand 991.. Like the 993 they will be the last of a breed, and will becomes more valuable , low production last of an era.
