I drove the current Ferrari 488 on the track and hated it...turbo lag was horrible out of every corner. Very hard to throttle steer that car. I suppose with more seat time I might be able to manage it but in 10 laps in it I was not having fun other than halfway down each straight.

I always love the hairdresser comments...particularly ironic when you consider the fact that the Miata is pretty much the most raced car in the history of all cars (and I mean real racing, at least at the amateur level..SCCA/NASA/WRL, etc, not boy racer street stuff).
