I have zero experience w/ a Mini, but I'm a firm believer in that first shot stopping a threat dead in it's tracks...there is NO substitute for 00 imo....none
. Full power 00 is a freakin' handful...but ya don't need to reach out that far for home defense. The Fiocchi 00 low velocity loads are the real deal...and quite managable imo...and there is just no comparison when it comes to instant stopping power....YMMV.
