I doubt that, and it wouldn't have one iota of effect. It'd get a court challenge on the same day. Maybe he'd be able to temporarily stop new ones from being sold. But remember - these do not have serial numbers or date codes. They are untraceable and there have to be over a million of them in circulation. Sure, maybe people will stop shooting them at public ranges. But how is that going to stop the next mass shooter? Oh, ever heard of binary triggers? They make bump fire stocks look like Legos. They're more expensive and have never been used in a crime. But the gun-ignorant crowd hasn't even heard of them. And so they'll continue to fly off the shelves a while longer.
