The issue with BaT is the implied premise that because the vehicle is on their site it must be fantastic or at least validated through the folks pouring over the pic and description. The peanut gallery's knowledge of a certain vehicle is one thing, the seller misrepresenting a vehicle is entirely another. My point about "bat guarantee" would simply be another level of security offered to a buyer who is purchasing sight unseen from often 1,000's of miles away during an auction count down. In a perfect world there would be a grace period after the close of the auction where a proper due diligence on the buyer's behalf could occur...perhaps this is a thing already with BaT but to my knowledge, it is not.
