OK, here is The Sleeping Buddha Temple, The Snake Temple, vipers hanging on everything, a place where you really kept your hands in your pockets, then at the end a viper with a red dot on it for you to get a picture with. I declined. got an out of focus shot of it.
The last picture is the E&O Hotel where Somerset Maugham hung out. I have others, from the top of the Penang Hill and city scenes but like these they are a little faded. I don't even remember talking to another guy on R&R while I was there. One plane a week came and went. not over run with GIs. Really an interesting place at that time.
