I spent the summer of '79 working at the stadium drive-in down the street from Anaheim stadium. It's been gone a long time now.
I'd get up early and go surfing and make it to work by 10, re-set all the poles that were knocked down and replace the speakers that were ripped out, and be home by 3.
And they were paying me $2.35 an hour to do it!
