The real issue with most drive in-in movies is the car can be hot in the summer time. It often does not cool down below 90 until well after midnight in the middle of summer.
We still have a few of them around. I have not been to one in over 40 years so maybe they are better now.

Good to hear some drive in's are still going strong.
GH- Automotive A/C has come a long way in forty years. Plus last time I went the sound came through the radio not the speaker hanging in the window.
