Someone told be that there is a muscle that must relax in order to pee, and that muscle controls when you fart. Hence the fart before you pee being so common.
Science or biology rules over social etiquette.
I've also been told to not excuse yourself in the toilet room, it's not necessary.
Maybe we should just rename them the farting and burping rooms?
