I have a friend who is really into movies. He is very into speculating about who will win, and he sees all the movies when they come out. He even has a home theater set up, so he can have movie parties with his friends.
It doesn't mean a lot to me, but I have a few friends that will tell me to see certain movies, and I usually do.
I guess it takes a lot of ego to be an actor, but I know a lot of people who would never have made it through life without their ego. It is funny to hear them go on about other people and their egos. That movie with Michael Keaton was about ego and art. Birdman, I think it was. Good lord, did that make a splash at the Oscars.
Some here are not so different, all tied up in self identity. I can appreciate the people who can take a step back and look at themselves with the same critical eye they reserve for others. We are all Bozos on this bus.
