The thing is, chemtrails are real and a viable way to attempt to change the atmosphere and have an impact on climate/weather.
The question is about if airlines are doing it, and I suspect not, otherwise mechanics would be talking.
Ask him to track the aircraft responsible with high definition lenses. Then cross check these with commercial flight paths that day.
If he is seeing commercial aircraft on daily flights, I doubt he is seeing chemtrails.
