I’ve only ever actually seen one of these in person once.. It was the early 90s on the showroom of a jaguar dealership as a promotion.
Anyhow I wrongly thought these to be half concocted le mans wanna be road cars for the past 30 years.
As time has passed the XJ220 as got better and better these cars from behind are simply the best looking cars of all time. They look like something from 2050 not mid 1990s!
Not to mention it was BY FAR the fastest car of its day. Performance of a XJ220 is said to be on paper and real life simply astounding.
Often wondered how the 959 and xj220 would compare on track.
