To early to tell so I am speculating.
Looks like an auto rotation. Float bags out, so the pilot was aware and working through the event.
The pilot did a good job landing level, actually a very good job.
Helicopter crashes are yard sales. Water landings in the winter are very problematic. The Navy makes pilots and crew members practice crashing a whole bunch:
Do a search on "Helo Dunker". I have lived the dream many times. Surviving the crash is the first step, the flip is the hard part.
I wish it had worked out in their favor.
