Look closely at your oil lines. I am about to have the 3.3 in my '91 Turbo reinstalled after a complete motor tear down (split case) - everything in the motor itself was in amazing condition at 95,000 miles except for the exhaust valve guides, by the way.
But we replaced a number of oil lines. So give them a thorough inspection. Will be a good time to replace the plugs, adjust valves, do the power steering pump seal and o-ring, check the seals at the "triangle of death" - that's what come to my mind
