I purchased this ButterKrust Bread door roughly 12 years ago on eBay. There wasn't any history with it other than it had been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. That's it. There are no manufacturer markings anywhere on the door either.
I cleaned it up and put it up in my garage for a few years and then had it in my office at work - I work for a bread and snack cake company. The company is coming up on its 100 year anniversary and I'm going to donate the door to a museum that's being built. We are trying to figure out what year this would have been made and what kind of truck (or maybe an enclosed wagon??) if possible for the history card.
I've scoured Google and haven't come close to finding anything that looks like it. The door stands at 4', has an oak frame, stationary window, steel skin, and a slight bow at the bottom. Most of the doors I've found are straight - now bow.
So here I am asking for your help to see if anyone here may have an idea to the vintage or make. Thanks in advance!
