IT's an old old Formula Vee. Two reasons for the lack of triangulation at the rear. One it's old, technology has moved on. Two, it's the VW trailing arm suspension so the main location for the rear suspension is those pivots you see right behind the lower end of the main roll bar location so at the important location point, it's pretty stiff (by that chassis standards)
