Good idea...thank, Mark. I'm sure I already have something in my garage like that. I guess I was just experimenting to see how the mock up would work - period - before going into "production-mode"!

Was at my Mom's today doing a little garden maintenance for her and took this pic of a some plants I planted there several years ago. This is a very narrow bed so needed something vertical in habit and wanted something with an architectural look. These are Cordyline australis "Dark Star" - somewhat rare to find in markets around here. They were only a foot or so high when I planted them. Very cold hardy! At some point I will take some tip and cane cuttings. Working with plants is so amazingly rewarding at times....
