i owned a 996tt for 10 months and sold it as it was neither the sunday or hobby car i was looking for after my spec car experience. my familiarity with air cooled cars DIY and the nannies on the turbo made it a simple choice to move on for me.
a 996 GT3 would still be sitting in the garage today had i been able to afford one when shopping for the turbo. that car IMO could not be loved like i love air cooled cars...
