For those who want to experience night life/shows one could always head to Branson, MO. It's about 45 min drive but be forewarned that there are deers.

I’ve never been there, I did suggest trying to meet up during the local P-club get together in early November. They draw around 300 cars every year, they have that in Eureka Springs.
