scope for 20 yards?
why?
I shot my rooster dead in the eye at 10 with irons on my Diane break barrel pellet rifle
the son of a b had started crowing and i had warned the bastard he'de meet a pot and a bottle of red wine if he started waking me up.. he had bene half ass making noises for 2 months, and on a given monday he let loose with a big ass crow.. i opened my window and shouted stfu, he crowed louder.
He was also fighting his mother chicken and his sisters.. So something had to be done
And when i tried to catch him i found out that roosters don't run like ordinary chickens, them's muuuch faster !!
Each time I made a move, he'de run off and pause 10 yards away, stopped, and looked at me defiantly for 4 secs.
That's when i knew i'de get him with grandpa's old Diane.
I made him run, and when he stopped to look at me, offhand, I shot him right in the eye
Dropped like a stone.
Not much meat on them bones, but it was tasty
