Where your daughter goes and gets her degree from is very important when it comes to getting a job. Employers will look at what school she is coming from as well as her degree.

She's thinking Poli Sci so that'll mean a Law Degree.
Tulane is a great school but it's top 40, number 40 actually.
Wash U is a Tier 1 school. it's top 20 in every curriculum.
Part of the decision making was being driven / influenced by my SIL.
She owns her own recruiting agency in Manhattan.
She was pushing for Tulane because she has zero issues placing their grads.
She also advocated heavily for Northeastern over Tulane but for a variety of reasons that was choice 3.
When she heard my daughter made Wash U she was more excited than everyone else.
She hardly ever places Wash U grads because they get snatched up before they graduate, according to her.
